WOYWW #259 - entry no.38

Thank you for visiting me from Stamping Ground.

Having missed last week due to my cousin coming over from America and having a lovely family outing to Cadbury’s World… I am back this week and very prepared.

I was really pleased that a very good friend of mine Lee-Anne asked me to create a scrapbook page.  She would like to put it in a box frame and give it to her husband Phil for their wedding anniversary.  It is of his Grandfather during World War Two.

To be honest I was really scared as I worried I might not do it the justice that it deserves so I kept putting it off.  Then yesterday I knew I had to just due it.  I have used scanned copies of the original documents and she will be replacing the copy of the photo with the original photo (I was way to scared to use that one lol).

Once this was finished I was really pleased with how it looked.  As usual it is nothing like I first planned it in my head.  I always sketch a layout then construct from the layout, I just went for it! Think I’m getting braver in my old age!

In addition the the scrapbook page I am preparing for a craft fair that I will be attending at Weybourne, North Norfolk on Sunday. (Oh I do like to be beside the seaside!)  No doubt my table will get messier by then.

I am actually on a mission to gut my craft room, have a good clear out and make sure everything has a place etc etc.  This will start this afternoon and continue over the next few days, well in theory. In reality it will take about a week. I am going to be super thorough and get it organised. I will show pictures of all the stages once it is complete.

See you all next week for the 5th Birthday of WOYWW!
